When you come to visit us for an initial consultation, you will receive a warm welcome from all of us here in our friendly family practice. We believe that it is our duty to provide each and every one of our patients with an exceptional quality of care, personalising each treatment in order to suit your specific needs and dental desires.

We are all entitled to have a healthy mouth that we are pleased to share with the world. Whether it be just your biannual check-up, to repair a broken or sore tooth or for a cosmetic treatment to let your pearly whites be the star of the show, we are here to provide you with professional advice and care that will leave you pleased with your results.
Your dentist in Islington will be able to speak to you about any current concerns regarding your oral health and what you may like to do in order to rectify these. We will endeavour to meet your needs in the most cost effective and reliable way. It is important to be able to offer you as many different options as we can, explaining the advantages and potential risks that are associated with each one so that you are able to make an informed choice as to what is the best treatment option for you.
It can be nerve racking to meet with a new dentist and we hope that we can establish a positive relationship with you that has you feeling relaxed and in control about what you want to do with your smile. You may have found in the past that you have been nervous about dental visits, perhaps you have been put off due to a previous procedure or you are simply embarrassed as time ticks on that you haven’t kept up with regular checks.
Our dentists in Islington are compassionate people who have been trained to make you feel relaxed and comfortable with them. We are non judgemental dentists who simply want to be able to provide you with information so that you can decide what you need to do in order to keep yourself healthy.
What can I expect from the initial consultation?
A typical initial consultation will take around 30 minutes. This is enough time for us to get to know you and your smile, whilst still being short enough so that it doesn’t feel overwhelming to new patients.
During this time, we will provide you with an intra and extraoral examination, checking for oral cancer and other abnormalities as well as the health of your teeth and gums. We will give you some detailed information on what to look out for, so should you be concerned you can feel free to contact your dentist in Islington at a later date .
We may take X-rays to have a more detailed look at your teeth, checking for crowding, crookedness and the position of your bite. After a few questions about your normal oral hygiene routine and your diet, we will also provide you with bespoke advice on how to maintain a good level of oral health.
