Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your appointment we require 48 hours’ notice.

We ask for all cancellations to be made in writing over email, in person or via our phone line, a voice message should the practice be closed is also acceptable.

For any private appointments giving less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a minimum charge of £60, although this can be higher depending on the complexity of the procedure which would have been already prepared for. For any NHS appointments giving less than 48 hours’ notice a ‘fail to attend’/FTA occurs, should any existing patient FTA 2 times or more they are removed from the NHS list. Should any New patients fail to attend 1 NHS appointment prior to being seen they will be removed from the NHS list

For any patient wishing to dispute the policy due to a situation out of your control we request something is put in writing to the dental manager, Manager: Mrs S Penny-  Pickeringpracticemanager@dentalbeauty.co.uk or in Writing to the practice.

Cancelling due to illness

Patients who are unable to make their appointment due to illness must, where possible, contact the practice 48 hours before the appointment if they cannot attend.

Failing to notify us may result in a failure to attend charge and/or contribute to failed appointments. If any patient fails to attend 2 NHS appointments, Dental Beauty Islington will no longer provide NHS dental services to the individual.

Unless there are exceptional circumstances and proof can be provided upon request, Dental Beauty Islington reserves the right to offer private services only.
